McShea Earns AEC Women’s Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll Recognition
Lancaster Pa. – (4/6/2022) – This past weekend, senior Siobhan McShea (Ephrata, Pa.) placed among the Top-10 in the Javelin (8th, 25.88) and the 400-Meter Hurdles (3rd, 1:10.86) at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Invitational to earn herself a spot on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women’s Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll. McShea also provided the Griffins with additional finishes in the High Jump (15th, 1.35), Long Jump (16th, 4.35) and Shot Put (16th, 8.15).
Gwynedd Mercy University spent their Saturday (April 2) at the TCNJ Invitational. There, McShea led the charge with her Top-10 finishes in the Javelin and 400-Meter Hurdles. She was joined in the Javelin by freshman Alissa LaGrotte (11th, 16.90) and junior Megan LoStracco (Chalfont, Pa.) (12th, 12.70). McShea also competed in the High Jump (15th, 1.35), Long Jump (16th, 4.35) and Shot Put (16th, 8.15). LoStracco accompanied McShea in the Shot Put (18th, 7.60). Senior Caitlyn Behan (Trappe, Pa.) was the only other Griffin to finish in the Top-10 with her sixth (2.15) in the Pole Vault.
Gwynedd Mercy University competes next on Saturday, April 9, when travel for the Ursinus College Outdoor Invitational.
