Stocklin’s Game-Winner Scores AEC Men’s Soccer Weekly Honor Roll Appearance
Lancaster, Pa. – (10/27/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior defenseman
Colin Stocklin (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded the game-winning goal (2-1, 51:55) in the 52
nd minute of the Griffins’ 3-1 league win over Immaculata University (Oct. 25) by completing a well-placed feed from classmate, forward
Braedon Kehan (Warrington, Pa.). It was Stocklin’s only shot of the week, but it earned him an appearance on the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men’s Soccer Weekly Honor Roll.
Stocklin was joined on the AEC Men’s Soccer Weekly Report by Neumann University freshman forward J.P. Phillip (Brampton, Ontario) and Marywood University junior defenseman/midfielder Drew Smith (Archbald, Pa.), who respectively won the AEC Men’s Soccer Player and Defensive Players of the Week.
After falling behind Immaculata University (2-12-2, 1-3-2) in the opening half, 1-0, Gwynedd Mercy University (6-10, 2-4) wasted little time responding as freshman forward
Jackson Stuetz (Willow Grove, Pa.) equalized the spread in the 48th minute (1-1, 47:38) and Stocklin netted the game-winner off the Kehan pass just minutes later; 2-1 (51:55). The Red and Gold continued to press and added an insurance tally in the 79th minute as junior midfielder
Luke O'Donnell (Glenside, Pa.) found the back of the net for the Griffins' third goal; 3-1 (78:16). Senior goalkeeper
Andrew Roberto (Churchville, Pa.) (5-4) anchored the defense with seven saves, holding the Mighty Macs scoreless despite a 15-11 shot discrepancy.
Gwynedd Mercy University will finish its 2025 regular season schedule on Wednesday, October 29, when they travel to Centenary University (N.J.) for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff.
