Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (7/14/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Meghan Sacks is pleased to welcome a familiar face to the coaching staff as she welcomes
Victoria Sloan '26 back as the program's recruiting assistant. "Victoria was integral part of the Gwynedd Mercy University community as an undergrad and knowing her passion for the school and our program, she is the perfect fit for this role. I expect her to thrive in this position." As the women's lacrosse recruiting assistant, her duties include scouting, evaluating, and serving as the program's primary point of contact for all prospective student-athletes. Sloan served as the Griffins' primary goalkeeper from 2024 to 2026; she made 32 starts in 44 appearances and totaled 252 career saves with a .317 save percentage (SV%).
"I am thrilled to join the Gwynedd Mercy University women's lacrosse coaching staff," said Coach Sloan. " I can't wait to share my passion for the game with each new recruit and help them find a home here, at GMercyU." Sloan shared time in goal in both her freshman (2024) and sophomore (2025) seasons, but emerged as Gwynedd Mercy University's primary goalkeeper for her final season (2026) in the Red and Gold. She paired her .317 SV% with a 16.89 goals-against average (GAA) and despite a 3-28 record, her 252 career saves currently ranks fifth on the Griffins' all-time list. Sloan also recorded four caused turnovers and 77 ground balls in her three season in the Red and Gold.
A finance major, Sloan is anticipated to graduate from Gwynedd Mercy University with her bachelor's degree in May of 2027. She inducted to Chi Alpha Sigma; the National College Athlete Honor Society in 2026 after being mentioned on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team. Sloan made five appearances on the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Fall 2023, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026) and a three appearances on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) All-Academic Team (2023-2024, 2024-2025, 2025-2026).
