Keith Mondillo is delighted to officially reintroduce
Tori Holste as Head Cheerleading Coach, "Since coming on staff as an assistant, Tori has always been a big part of our cheerleading program. This staffing shuffle allows us to continue the positive projection this program has enjoyed under Coach Charlton's leadership." He added, "I have no doubt that Coach Holste will be a great shepherd Gwynedd Mercy University Cheerleading. I look forward to them engaging our student body and supporting our basketball teams on game day!"
"I'm incredibly excited to be stepping into this new role as head coach of a program that has become such a meaningful part of my life," said Coach Holste. "I want to continue growing the program, build upon our collegiate-level skills, and create a positive team culture where every cheerleader feels valued sand supported." Coach Holste joined the Gwynedd Mercy University cheerleading coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2024-2025 season; she has an extensive history in competitive cheer as an owner of National titles at the all-star and high school levels. As part of the staffing shuffle for the Gwynedd Mercy University cheerleading program, former Head Coach
Heather Charlton will remain with the team as a volunteer assistant. "I have learned so much about leadership, coaching, and what it means to build a team from Coach Charlton. I am grateful for the foundation she has created." In closing, Coach Holste emphasized, "I hope to honor the work she has put into this program and make her proud by continuing the legacy she started. I'm excited for what this next chapter holds and can't wait to see what our team accomplishes together!"
Coach Holste earned her bachelor's degree in health professions with a minor in healthcare management from Temple University in 2020. Following her graduation from Temple University, she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Holy Family University (2023) and currently works as a full-time emergency room nurse in the Philadelphia area.
