Lancaster, Pa. – (4/6/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University junior first baseman was a table setter in the Griffins recent split with Penn State Schuylkill as she led off the line-up with a 6-for-9 doubleheader that produced six runs and two runs-batted-in (RBI). Her performance was recognized by the league with the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Softball Player of the Week title.
Opposite Kehoe, the AEC Softball Pitcher of the Week award went to Marywood freshman pitcher/infielder Emily Dubisz (Stroudsburg, Pa.). The AEC Softball Weekly Honor Roll included Centenary University (N.J.) freshman first baseman/third baseman Kayla Melsky (Phillipsburg, N.J.), Immaculata University senior third baseman Carlee Karcher (Maple Shade, N.J.), Marywood University junior outfielder Renee McDonald (South Abington Township, Pa.), Neumann University freshman catcher/infielder Ellie Zarnawski (Cinnaminson, N.J.), and Saint Elizabeth University junior infielder Rylee Sullivan (Manalapan, N.J.).
Gwynedd Mercy University (7-12) continued their tour of the local Penn State satellite campuses as they visited Schuylkill for Tuesday's doubleheader. The top of the lineup - Kehoe (3-for-5) and freshman second baseman
Macey Harrold (West Deptford, N.J.) (2-for-4, BB) - set the table and junior catcher
Maya Hellyer (Quakertown, Pa.) (3RBI) and several others as the Griffins defeated the Nittany Lions by an 11-8 measure in the opener.
In game two, the Red and Gold rally fell just shy of its target in a 9-8 conclusion. Kehoe (3-for-4, BB, 3R, 3RBI) and senior shortstop
Hannah Smith (Levittown, Pa.) (3-for-4, BB, R, 2RBI) helped turn the lineup over with three hits apiece.
Gwynedd Mercy University resumes their AEC schedule on Monday, April 6, when they visit Penn State Harrisburg for a 3:00 p.m. doubleheader.
