Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (4/23/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are pleased to announce the 16^th annual Mr. Griffin Contest. This year's pageant is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, in the Merck Lecture Hall (Maguire Hall 101). For a $3 donation to Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics SAAC, the campus community can support their favorite student-athlete as they compete for the title of Mr. Griffin! Join us in Merck Auditorium for all the fun!
 
A Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics tradition dating back to 2010, the Mr. Griffin Contest selects one student-athlete from each men's sports programs to compete for the title of "Mr. Griffin". Hosted by Gwynedd Mercy University Assistant Professor and Sport Management Program Director Maddie Herman, the contest will be a talent show, costume contest, a lip sync/dance battle, and a Q&A session. Of course, a panel of campus celebrities will be on-hand to serve as judges for the evening.
