Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (3/31/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University sophomore Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) earned Honor Roll recognition on the first Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Track and Field Weekly Report of the season with his performance at Widener University's Danny Curran Invitational (Mar. 27 – 28). Scheitrum was one of several Griffins to celebrate a personal best as the Red and Gold's top thrower achieved an all-time record in the Discus with his ninth-place throw of 41.30 meters in addition to his finishes in the Shot Put (47^th, 11.22) and Hammer (27^th, 37.49).
 
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Saturday, April 11, when they visit Rowan University for the Prof's Oscar Moore Invitational.
