Chester, Pa. - (3/29/2026) - Gwynedd Mercy University's men's and women's track and field teams continued their outdoor season with Friday (Mar. 27) and Saturday (Mar. 28) competition at Widener University's Danny Curran Invitational. The Griffin women celebrated some of the season's best results and headlined their day with a fourth-place Javelin (4th, 35.21) throw from graduate

Fanta Dukuly (Philadelphia, Pa.) (32nd, 26.83) and freshman
Brianna Freitag (Philadelphia, Pa.) (123rd, 33.08) ran their best times so far this season in the 200-Meter, the former also did the same in the 100-Meter with her 32nd-place sprint of 12.99. Freshman
Gabriella Rossi (Philadelphia, Pa.) also gave her best in the 100-Meter with a personal best 16.41 (91st).
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Saturday, April 11, when they visit Rowan University for the Prof's Oscar Moore Invitational.
