Allentown, Pa. - (9/17/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (3-4) put together a dominant performance on Wednesday night, blanking Cedar Crest College (1-5) 4-0 at the FalconPlex.
The Griffins wasted little time taking control as freshman forward Drew Bark (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored (1-0) in the eighth minute (8:51) off an assist from freshman defender Addyson Sparks (Philadelphia, Pa.). Just three minutes later (12:29), Bark struck again (2-0), doubling the advantage with her second goal of the season.
The momentum only grew when sophomore midfielder Casey Thomas (Philadelphia, Pa.) buried her first career goal in the 35th minute (35:10), finishing a setup from senior forward Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) to make it 3-0 at halftime.
Bark completed her first collegiate hat trick in the 53rd minute (53:59) (4-0), sealing the match and lifting her season total to three goals.
Defensively, the Griffins were steady throughout, with senior goalkeepers Natalie Gablein (Philadelphia, Pa.), Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.), and freshman goalkeeper Zoe Davis (Riverside, N.J.) combining for the clean sheet. Gablein led the way with four first-half saves (2-3), while Ronn and Davis closed the door in relief.
