Biography

FRESHMAN (2022) – Gablein (14gp-14gs) started 14 contests, including four of them in goal. There, she totaled 203:12 minutes and earned a 0-3-1 record with 22 saves on a 3.10 goals-against average (GAA) and a .759 save percentage. She totaled a season-high 14 saves while making three saves during the first half Gwynedd Mercy University’s season-opening 7-0 loss versus Penn State Abington (Sept. 1). While playing the field, she recorded eight shots and her first collegiate goal (1 point); the tally came as the fourth Griffin goal (74:21) of a 4-2 win over Penn State Brandywine (Sept. 6).

SOPHOMORE (2023) – Gablein (8gp-5gs) made three appearances on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women’s Soccer Weekly Report with an Honor Roll mention on September 25 and Defensive Player of the Week awards on September 18 and October 30. The Honor Roll appearance stemmed from eight saves in an 1-0-1 week versus Clarks Summit University (W, 4-0 on Sept. 18) and Cairn University (T, 1-1 on Sept. 22), while her Defensive Player of the Week titles came with three saves and a shutout in the Griffins’ 1-0 triumph at Rosemont College (Sept. 13) and a dozen (12) saves in the Griffins’ 0-0 tie at Centenary University (NJ) (Oct. 28). Gablein (3-0-1, 2 SHO) totaled 36 saves in 450:00 minutes thanks to a .800 goals-against average (GAA) and a .900 save percentage.

JUNIOR (2024) – Gablein (11gp-11gs) played a majority of the minutes in goal (961:39) and totaled 92 saves with .800 save percentage (SV%) and a 2.15 goals-against average (GAA). She made two appearances on the AEC Weekly Honor Roll (Sept. 9, Sept. 23) before finishing the season with a 2-7-2 record. She shared shutout in the Griffins’ 8-0 season-opening win over Penn State Brandywine (Aug. 30) and earned a full one of her own in a 0-0 tie with the University of Pittsburg-Greensburg (Sept. 7). Gablein recorded a career-high 17 saves in the Griffins’ 2-1 AEC First Round, overtime loss at #4 Immaculata University (Nov. 2).
