Allentown, Pa. - (4/5/2025) - The Gwynedd Mercy University men's and women's track and field teams continued their outdoor season with this weekend's competition at the Muhlenberg College Invitational. The Red and Gold performed well in the sprints as senior Victor Cruz (New Castle, Del.) and freshman Fanta Dukuly (Philadelphia, Pa.) respectively recorded Top-10 finishes in the men's and women's 100-Meter and 200-Meter races; the latter recorded respective season's bests of 12.83 (4th) and 26.82 (2nd). In the field events, freshmen; Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) recorded a Top-10 finish in the men's Discus (7th, 37.03) and Truly Heft (East Greenville, Pa.) recorded a Top-10 finish in the women's Javelin (10th, 23.01).

The Gwynedd Mercy University men's and women's track and field teams continue their outdoor season on Friday, April 11, when they compete at the Messiah University Invitational. Events are scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
