Dominic Romania (Phoenixville, Pa.) (4 goals, 1 assist) helped the Gwynedd Mercy University (3-6) stack goals in today's 13-9 victory over Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.) (2-3). The Griffins out-shot the Knights by a 53-37 margin, cleared 17-of-20 (.850) of their transitions, and split the face-offs (13-of-26, .500).

- Gwynedd Mercy University separated from Mount Saint Mary College with late first-quarter scores from Seaman (2-2, 5:56), senior attack Richie Hughes (Turnersville, N.J.) (3-2, 5:22), and senior attack Ian Kish (Easton, Pa.) (4-3, 0:36). The last gave the Griffins a 4-3 edge with just 36 seconds remaining in the opening frame.
- At the start of the second quarter, a Devine (5-3, 14:00) and Seaman (6-3, 12:47) marked back-to-back tallies to give Gwynedd Mercy University a three-goal advantage.
- The Griffin lead maxed out at six goals when Romania scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter (10:16, 7:09).
- Both Seaman and Romania recorded five points; the former backed up his offensive production with eight ground balls and two caused turnovers, while the latter hustled to three ground balls.
