Langhorne, Pa. - (3/22/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (4-6) made it three wins in a row with today's one-sided 21-3 triumph at Cairn University (0-6); the Griffins scored the first 15 goals of the contest - with six coming from junior attack Gunnar Seaman (Worcester, Pa.) (14:16, 7:16, 2:12, 0:27, 12:34, 11:41) - and finished off the Highlanders with 3-1 spreads in both the third, 18-2 (3:34), and fourth quarters (21-3, 1:55). Seaman finished with a season-high nine points (7 goals, 2 assists), 16 shots, three ground balls, and a caused turnover. He got plenty of help from senior midfielder Ian Kish (Easton, Pa.), who matched a season-high seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) while recording six shots and a ground ball.

• Gwynedd Mercy University banked goals early in the contest with Seaman's opener; 1-0 (14:16), kick-starting a the Red and Gold's 15-0 opening run.
• In addition to Seaman's six, individual first-half Griffin goals came from senior attack Dominic Romania (Phoeixville, Pa.) (2-0, 10:24, 1QTR), freshman attack David Crespo (Furlong, Pa.) (13-0, 7:50, 2QTR), freshman midfielder Colin Vannais (Washington Township, N.J.) (14-0, 17-7, 2QTR), junior attack Nick Citrigno (Southampton, Pa.) (15-0, 2:20, 2QTR), a pair from junior attack Josh Devine (Pottstown, Pa.) (4:59, 3:56, 1QTR), and three from Kish (8:08, 1:34, 0:00, 1QTR).
• Gwynedd Mercy University totaled season-highs in goals (21), assists (12), points (33), shooting percentage (.323), shots-on-goal (43), shots-on-goal percentage (.662), and ground balls (54), while matching their season-high in caused turnovers (12).
• The Griffins won 19-of-27 (.704) face-offs and were successful on 17-of-18 (.944) clears. Junior face-off Jake Tedeschi (Goshen, N.Y.) went 10-of-13 (.769) in the circle with seven ground balls.
• Romania finished with two points (1 goal, 1 assist), Citrigno (2, 1), Devine (3, -), and sophomore attack Jeremiah Destin (Philadelphia, Pa.) (2, 1) totaled three apiece, and Crespo finished with four (2, 2). 
• In goal, senior Jared Devine (Pottstown, Pa.) and freshman Alexander Guardino (Lumberton, N.J.) slpit time in net. The former earned the win (4-6) with eight saves in the first half (30:00), while the latter totaled five saves in the second.

Gwynedd Mercy University opens their Atlantic East Conference (AEC) schedule on Friday, April 4, when they host Centenary University (N.J.) for a 4:00 p.m. Senior Day contest.
