Dashon Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa.) off the bench for some offense as the experienced post scored a dozen points (12 points) to complement more balanced efforts from graduate guard
Dylan Harris (Bloomsburg, Pa.) (9 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal) and senior guard
D.J. Johnson (Norristown, Pa.) (6 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 3 steals). The Red and Gold gave the Hawks some early competition, but were eventually left behind in a 42-28 halftime deficit and a 84-60 final.

- Gwynedd Mercy University kept the exhibition close early with an one-two combination on junior guard Zaiyin Keys (Chichester, Pa.) and Lewis.; the former helped estsablish the perimeter with long-range buckets at 13:42 (10-16) and 12:17 (15-18), while the the latter kept the Griffin momentum rolling with a jumper (12-16, 12:54) and a fastbreak layup that cut the difference to a single point just past the 12-minute mark;Â 17-18, 11:50.
- Lewis made the most of his 15 minutes off the Red and Gold bench with 12 points on 5-of-9 (.556) shooting.
- Harris made all three of his baskets from long range (3-of-7; .429); he headlined the Griffins' efforts from the perimeter.
- Johnson was Gwynedd Mercy University's heart with his versatile performance; he grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and fronted the defense with a block and three steals.
