Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/29/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (5-15, 0-4) marked the first set lost to an Atlantic East Conference (AEC) foe for Marymount University (12-15, 5-0) with an 25-20 victory in the second set. Griffin Highlights
- Gwynedd Mercy University hit their best in the second-set win with a .208 (10K-5E-24TA) hitting percentage. The Red and Gold dominated the set, taking a 16-9 lead before putting the Saints away.
- Thanks to Gaston's aces and additional service points from sophomore defensive specialist/pin hitter Annalise Kuppel (Estell Manor, N.J.) (2 aces), Etter, Pugh, and sophomore defensive specialist Marley Robbins (Medford, N.J.), the Griffins out performed the Marymount University on the serve 9-7.
- Pugh finished with 11 kills, an assist, an ace, and 14 digs, while Etter totaled 10 kills, an ace, two block assists, and 11 digs.
- Freshman libero P.J. Mendoza (Kennett Square, N.J.) was the third Griffin in double-digit digs with a dozen (12).
