Lancaster, Pa. - (10/22/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (5-12) took a break from league play to visit Lancaster Bible College (13-9) for this evening's competition. Charlotte Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa.) was the Red and Gold's top scorer with nine points; she recorded eight kills and a solo block. Senior setter
Ayanna Gaston (Middletown, Del.) fueled the Gwynedd Mercy University effort with 18 assists, a block assist, and five digs.
Griffin Highlights
- Pugh added seven digs to her scoring. Her efforts on both sides of the net were complemented by junior outside hitter Kate Etter (Chambersburg, Pa.), who finished the affair with five kills and a team-high 10 digs.
- Sophomore middle hitter Emma Hastings (Collingswood, N.J.) also helped Pugh with five kills, a solo block, a block assist, and a dig.
- Gwynedd Mercy University got aces from sophomore defensive specialist Marley Robbins (Medford, N.J.) (2), sophomore outside hitter Annalise Kuppel (Estell Manor, N.J.) (1), and freshman defensive specialist P.J. Mendoza (Kennett Square, Pa.) (1).
Gwynedd Mercy University continues their AEC schedule this Saturday, October 25, when they visit league rival Neumann University for a afternoon tri-match. After a 10:00 a.m. game with the Knights, the Griffins will face King's College (Pa.) in a 12:00 p.m. match.
