Aston, Pa. - (10/18/2025) – Despite a strong second-half push, Gwynedd Mercy University (7-7-1, 1-3) came up just short on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to Neumann University (5-8-2, 3-1-0) in Atlantic East Conference (AEC) action. Senior goalkeeper Natalie Gablein (Philadelphia, Pa.) turned in another steady performance between the posts, making four saves while keeping the Griffins within striking distance throughout the match (3-5-1).
Griffin Highlights:
- Gwynedd Mercy generated nine shots on the day, including two on goal, and held a 6–4 edge in shots during the second half.
- Junior midfielder Bridget Cannon (Bensalem, Pa.) and freshman defender Addyson Sparks (Philadelphia, Pa.) each recorded shots on goal for the Griffins, while senior forward Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) and freshman forward Drew Bark (Philadelphia, Pa.) helped pace the attack with multiple attempts.
