Anna Nicosia (Columbus, N.J.) midway through the fifth minute; 1-0 (4:22). From there, the Griffins quickly opened the flood gates with Bradley's hat trick putting the halftime spread at 4-0 and second-half scores from Morris and Cannon pushing the deficit to 6-0 before a late miscue gave the Nittany Lions the opportunity to ruin the Red and Gold shutout in the 77th minute; 6-1 (76:22). Griffin Highlights
- Gwynedd Mercy University controlled the ball for most of the game and held a 29-10 shot advantage. The spread was 14-3, Griffins at halftime.
- The Red and Gold totaled 10 corner kicks, including a series of corner restarts around the 50th minute (49:04, 49:34, 50:06). Soon after Morris scored her second goal with a well-timed header off the serve of junior midfielder Elena DiPrinzio (Warrington, Pa.).
- In addition to Nicosia and DiPrinzio, the Griffins also got assists on the Bradley goals from sophomore midfielder Samantha Winco (Chalfont, Pa.) - on a touch at 11:56 - senior midfielder/defender Kyra Malloy (Limerick, Pa.) - on a strong centering pass at the 29-minute mark (29:00) - and junior midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) - on a well-played lead at 30:47.
- Morris led the Griffins with seven shots. Bradley took six, while Cannon and Gordon took four each; the last sent three of her four in with her noggin.
