Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/4/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University (7-4-1, 1-0) welcomed new Atlantic East Conference (AEC) opponent Saint Elizabeth University (2-3, 0-1) to the Athletic Complex, where the Griffins extended their winning streak to three games in a 9-1 victory to open AEC play.
Senior standout Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) was unstoppable, recording four goals and two assists to power the Griffins to their sixth win of the season. Gwynedd Mercy wasted no time asserting control, outshooting the Eagles 25-1 in the first half, and taking a commanding 5-0 lead into halftime.
Bradley opened the scoring in the ninth minute (8:55) off a feed from sophomore midfielder Anna Nicosia (Columbus, N.J.), who followed with a goal of her own just two minutes later (11:28). Bradley then added two more first-half strikes (14:09, 25:54)-including one assisted by junior defender Jessica Parker (Philadelphia, Pa.)-to complete her hat trick before freshman midfielder Cecelia Felmey (Warminster, Pa.) capped the half with a goal from sophomore defender Arianna Catanzariti (Blackwood, N.J.) in the 43rd minute (42:34).
The Griffins continued their onslaught after the break. Bradley netted her fourth in the 46th minute (46:07), while junior midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.), graduate forward Natalie Morris (Boyertown, Pa.), and even senior goalkeeper Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.) joined the scoring column. Ronn, who started the match in goal before moving upfield, tallied her first career goal off an assist from sophomore midfielder Olivia Crawford (Rockledge, Pa.) in the 63rd minute (62:32).
