Allentown, Pa. - (4/7/2024) - Gwynedd Mercy University competed in a variety of events in the two-day Muhlenberg College Invitational. The invitational opened with a Friday night Hammer throw; there, the Griffins celebrated a 16th-place distance of 20.97 from sophomore
Alex Pauling (Philadelphia, Pa.) in the men's competition as well as respective 14th (33.17) and 20th (24.07)-place finishes in the women's competition from graduate
Meghan LoStracco (Chalfont, Pa.) and sophomore
Breanna Hare (Warminster, Pa.). On Saturday, the field events continued with Discus, Javelin, Shot Put, and High Jump, while track events featured Griffins in the 100-Meter, 200-Meter, 800-Meter, 1,500-Meter, 5,000-Meter, and the 400-Meter Hurdles.
The Gwynedd Mercy University men's and women's track and field teams continue their schedule next Saturday, April 13, when they return to West Chester University for the Bill Butler Invitational
