Gwynedd Mercy University and Immaculata University opened their AEC season schedules with a September-28 showdown. Junior goalkeeper Natalie Gablein (Philadelphia, Pa.) helped them do so with a season-high 12 saves. Junior midfielder Natalie Morris (Boyertown, Pa.) and freshman defender Casey Thomas (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished with two shots apiece while freshman defender Demmi Fox (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) provided the other Red and Gold attempt.

Senior midfielder Bethany Beinlich (Forksville, Pa.) led the Griffins during the regular season as she scored 10 goals and provided three assists for a career-high 23 points. She got plenty of help from Morris (17 points; 6 goals, 5 assists), Fox (11 points; 4 goals, 3 assists), and sophomore midfielder Bridget Cannon (Bensalem, Pa.) (12 points; 4 goals, 4 assists), who all reached double-digit points. Morris leads the Red and Gold in shots with 43 and sophomore midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) is close behind with 42 attempts. In goal, Gwynedd Mercy University has given time to both Gablein (855:00 minutes) and fellow junior Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.) (495:00); the former is 2-6-2 with 75 saves on a .781 save percentage and a 2.21 goals-against average (GAA), while the latter is 2-3 with 51 saves on a .797 save percentage and a 2.36 GAA.
