Lancaster, Pa. – (11/1/2024) – With the conclusion of the conference and regular season schedules, interim league commissioner Rebecca Mullen has officially released the seeding for the
2024 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. A 5-0-1 league record earned Marywood University the top seed in the tournament, while #2 Marymount University and #3 Neumann University also earn First-Round byes with respective 4-0-2 and 3-1-2 conference records. Wins over Pratt University (W, 3-2 on Oct. 9) and Centenary University (W, 4-3 on Oct. 30) earned Gwynedd Mercy University the #5 seed in the league's postseason bracket and sends them to #4 Immaculata University for Saturday's (Nov. 2) AEC First Round contest. The Mighty Macs have scheduled the opening kickoff for 12:00 p.m.
Gwynedd Mercy University and Immaculata University opened their AEC season schedules with a September-28 showdown. The Mighty Macs gave the Griffins little to work with in a 3-0 final as the Red and Gold were outshot 31-5 and forced to defend eight Immaculata University corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper

Bethany Beinlich (Forksville, Pa.) led the Griffins during the regular season as she scored 10 goals and provided three assists for a career-high 23 points. She got plenty of help from Morris (17 points; 6 goals, 5 assists), Fox (11 points; 4 goals, 3 assists), and sophomore midfielder
Bridget Cannon (Bensalem, Pa.) (12 points; 4 goals, 4 assists), who all reached double-digit points. Morris leads the Red and Gold in shots with 43 and sophomore midfielder
Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) is close behind with 42 attempts. In goal, Gwynedd Mercy University has given time to both Gablein (855:00 minutes) and fellow junior
Madisson Ronn (Warrington, Pa.) (495:00); the former is 2-6-2 with 75 saves on a .781 save percentage and a 2.21 goals-against average (GAA), while the latter is 2-3 with 51 saves on a .797 save percentage and a 2.36 GAA.
