Senior Day Highlights:
Number 88, Goalkeeper,
Reilly Owens, was escorted by her parents Kelly and Kevin Owens and brother, Aiden Owens. Reilly's lightning quick reflexes and fearless disposition in goal helped peg her to Gwynedd's all-time leaderboard in multiple categories. Despite missing 21 games due to the pandemic, She is second in program history with 487 saves and first for average saves per game with 11. Reilly is not just an unstoppable force in the net, but she is also 8th in program history for groundballs with 150 and 15th for caused turnovers with 54. Reilly has been a captain for our team for the past two years and has clearly left her mark on this program. She always brings the energy and is there to pump up her teammates when they need it. Every day our team gets to shoot on Reilly in practice, and trying to score on a goalie of her caliber has exponentially honed the skills of every attacker and middie for the past four years. On top of that, she constantly gives instructional feedback to her teammates, which has been invaluable to their growth as well. Even as a freshman, we could count on her to tell our attackers to shoot sooner and teach them how to roll off a pick. We have been so lucky to have her and know her future is bright. She will be graduating with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. After graduation, she plans to work in a local school district in learning support.
