Gwynedd Valley, PA - (3/9/23) - Gwynedd Mercy Women's Lacrosse fell to Bryn Mawr College 5-15 on Thursday morning.

Highlights:

• Both of the Griffin captains hit huge milestone this morning.  
• Senior goalkeeper, Reilly Owens, got her 400th career save with 6:49 left in the first quarter and went on to make 10 more saves throughout the game.  She also scooped up 7 groundballs and caused six spectacular turnovers. Owens recorded her 200th save exactly one year ago today.
• After opening up the scoring for the Griffins with a well placed free position shot, junior attacker, Kristin Varilla, got her 100th career point with a beautiful assist to sophomore attacker, Hailey Bloom. Varilla accomplished this impressive milestone in only 22 games.

The Griffins will be back in action this Saturday when they take on Bryn Athyn at 12pm.
