Gwynedd Valley, PA (3/11/23) - The Gwynedd Mercy Women's Lacrosse Teams earned back their winning record with a 15-7 win over Bryn Athyn College.

Highlights:

• Junior Captain, Kristin Varilla, led the game in scoring with 7 goals while also adding an assist, two groundballs, two draw controls, and a caused turnover.  The attacker started the game on fire scoring the first three goals and continued a strong performance throughout the game. 
• Sophomore midfielder, Alysia Collins, continues to stay hot in the attacking end totaling a career high 6 points (4 assists and 2 goals) on the day.  Collins was an asset for the Griffins all over the field contributing 6 groundballs, 5 draw controls, and 1 caused turnover.
• Sophomore attacker, Hailey Bloom, found the back of the net 4 times today, the most goals of her career. Bloom also added a groundball and a caused turnover.
• The Griffin scoring was rounded out by Caroline Cleary (3 points) and Sydney Brown (1 goal).
• Senior Goalkeeper, Reilly Owens, recorded 11 saves giving her a 61% save percentage on the day. Owens caused 5 turnovers and scooped up 5 groundballs totaling 21 possessions for the Griffins.

The Griffs will be back in action on Wednesday March 22^nd when they travel to Hood College.
