Annville, Pa. - (12/16/2023) - Gwynedd Mercy University (4-6) traveled to Lebanon Valley College (2-8) where the Dutchmen came out flying and started the game on a 15-0 run. Ultimately, this deficit would be too much for the Griffins to overcome as they would trail the rest of the game and fall to Lebanon Valley 72-58. Today's 58 points was a season-low for the Griffins in their 2023-24 season. Senior guard JoHaan Vinson (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished the game 4-of-11 (44%) from the field with a team-high 12 points and three rebounds. 
 
Griffin Highlights:

• Gwynedd Mercy was forced into 21 turnovers while the Dutchmen only committed 16. With the Griffins' 21 turnovers, Lebanon Valley was able to record 27 points off turnovers. 
• Only two other Gwynedd Mercy players finished with double-digit points including senior guard Aziz Parker (Westhampton, N.J.) and sophomore guard Devin Benson (Williamstown, N.J.) who both scored ten apiece. 
• The Griffins struggled beyond the three-point arc as the team only shot 7-of-28 (25%).

Gwynedd Mercy University travels back to the Griffin Complex for their final home game of the 2023 calendar year when they take on Saint Elizabeth College on Tuesday, December 19th, for a 4:00 p.m. tipoff.
