Radnor, Pa. - (4/23/2022) - Gwynedd Mercy University (3-11, 1-4) marked a tally in each quarter of today's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) contest, but #12 Cabrini University lived up to their billing as they scored the first five goals of the contest and eventually overran the Griffins in a 23-4 final. Gwynedd Mercy University goals came from sophomore midfielder GianLuca Lockhart (Turnersville, N.J.) (5-1, 3:11 1QTR), sophomore midfielder Tyler Long (Downingtown, Pa.) (13-2, 3:33 2QTR), senior attack John McCreary (Furlong, Pa.) 17-3, 4:11 3QTR), and sophomore attack Jason Eide (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) (20-4, 13:33 4QTR). Eide totaled three points (goal, 2 assists) in addition to a pair of ground balls. Freshman midfielder Ian Kish (Easton, Pa.) finished 7-of-22 (.318) with four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. In goal, senior Aubron Swartley (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) recorded 15 saves and two ground balls in the loss (3-10).

Gwynedd Mercy University concludes their AEC and regular season schedules on Wednesday, April 27, when they host Marymount University for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
