Nate Campbell (Royersford, Pa.) was the first of eight straight Gwynedd Mercy University (12-15, 5-5) runs between the second (2-1), third (4-1), and fifth (8-1) innings. In the later frames, the Knights scored two runs in the sixth and a run apiece in the seven, eighth, and ninth innings, while the Griffins followed up a seventh-inning run with a pair of ninth-inning tallies. The result was a 11-6 AEC victory for Gwynedd Mercy University, who has now won three straight league games.
