Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (4/1/2022) - Southwestern University (9-3) owned a 4-1 lead over Gwynedd Mercy University (2-7) after the first quarter of today's contest and advanced their position to a 11-4 halftime lead before defeating the Griffins by a 15-4 final.
Sophomore attack Jason Eide (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) led the Gwynedd Mercy University offense with three goals and three ground balls. Meanwhile, senior goalkeeper Aubron Swartley (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) recorded his third game of 20 saves or more with 21 saves. He also recorded two ground balls and a caused turnover. Sophomore midfielder GianLuca Lockhart (Turnersville, N.J.) scored the other Griffin tally. He also recovered a ground ball.

Gwynedd Mercy University begins their Atlantic East Conference (AEC) schedule on Wednesday, April 6, when they visit Centenary University for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
