Purchase, NY - (11/18/22) - The Gwynedd Mercy Men's Basketball Team fell to Trinity College 74-86 in the first game of the A.J. Buchanan Classic hosted by Manhattanville College.

Highlights:

• Junior Aziz Parker led the Griffins with 15 point while also contributing 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
• Junior Mike McCants Jr. had 14 points and 2 rebounds on the night.
• Senior Captain Manny Clark led his team in rebounds with 6 and totaled 10 points.
• The Griffs scored the first ten points of the game but the Bantams slowly added points chipping away at the Griffs' lead.  Trinity took its first lead of the game with 10 minutes to go in the first half.
• The Griffs were down by 4 points going into the second half.
• Gwynedd Mercy put up 34 points to Trinity's 42 in the second half, resulting in a final score of 74-86.

The Griffins will play William Paterson University on Saturday November 19th at 4 p.m.
