Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - Gwynedd Mercy University (7-16) welcomed Clarks Summit University (1-23) where the Griffins hosted Senior Day for seniors Julianne Dove (Pottstown, Pa.) and Ashley Morris (Quakertown, Pa.), while also hosting their final home game of the 2022 season. Gwynedd Mercy in the first set jumped out to an early 6-5 lead over the Defenders and never looked back as they would go on to win the match winning all three sets (25-13, 25-17, 25-10). 

• Gwynedd Mercy University hit an impressive .385 (33K-8E-65TA) for the match. 
• Junior middle hitter Ashley Brown (Lansdale Pa.) finished the match with 15 points with 11 kills, 3 aces, and a block. 
• Dove finished with career highs of ten points and seven aces. 
• Morris finished with a team-high seven digs, while freshman setter Ayanna Gatson (Middletown, Del.) finished with a team-high 14 assists. 

Gwynedd Mercy University travels to King's College on Saturday, October 29, for their final regular season game for a 3:00 p.m. match contest.
