DOVER, DE. -- Rich Dunham registered a career-high 35 points but it was Wesley handing Gwynedd Mercy their first Atlantic East defeat and snapping the Griffin's seven-game win streak in a 76-73 decision Wednesday evening.

Dunham was 13-of-25 from the floor while hitting six of the team's 10 three-pointers, which was also a personal best and grabbing eight rebounds. He scored 23 of those points in the second half as no team led by more than eight and saw 11 lead changes, including eight in the final 20 minutes.

Wesley's Brian Cameron scored 18 of his 30 points in the second half as well. His three with 7:17 remaining gave the Wolverines the lead (61-59) for good. GMercyU stayed within reach, getting within 68-66 with 1:46 to play but could not draw any closer. After two Wesley free throws with seconds remaining to put the Griffins down six, Dunham hit his final triple to account for the scoring.

Nathaniel Walker added 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jordan Perkins was the team's top rebounder, snaring nine on the night.

The team shot 38% for the game and 50% from beyond the arc. After going 4-for-4 at the free-throw line in the first half, Gwynedd was 7-of-15 in the second.

The Griffins return to action next Wednesday when they host Marywood here at The Griffin Complex starting at 8 p.m.
