BRYN MAWR, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy took care of Bryn Mawr, posting a 3-0 road victory (25-7, 25-10, 25-19) Saturday afternoon.

Bridget McTamney recorded her ninth double double of the year, as the setter put up 17 assists and 13 digs along with five aces which tied a career high. Madelyn Mosser (7 kills), Liz Schule (6 kills), and Layne Morgan (6 kills) combined for 19 of the team's 24 kills. The trio also recorded an impressive hitting line as the three hit 19-1-47 in the sweep.
Schule added three aces to give Griffins 11 on the day.

After notching 12 kills in the first set win, the second saw GMercyU get out to a 9-1 advantage and ran off seven-straight to win 25-10. The Owls tried to climb back in the third after a slow start, getting to within 20-18 before back-to-back kills from Morgan and Mosser capped a 5-1 run to close it out.

The team is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Bryn Athyn for a 7 p.m. start.
