MEDIA, PA. -- Julianna Green was eighth overall as the Gwynedd Mercy Women's Cross Country Team raced in the Dan Talbot Open hosted by Bryn Mawr College on Friday.

The Griffins placed third overall with 69 points, just eight behind second-place Immaculata.

Green finished in a time of 28:07.1. Emily Stewart (29:06.8) was 12th, Keely Greene (29:18.0) was 15th. Kristen Dougher (30:27.1/21st) and Alicia Bennett (30:43.5/22nd) rounded out the lineup.

Anna Kyle of the host Owls was the winner in a time of 25:21.0 on the 6k course to help Bryn Mawr to the team title (26 points).

Gwynedd Mercy is off until Saturday, October 19th as they compete at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University.
