MADISON, N.J. -- Gwynedd Mercy was handed a 3-2 setback at Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham Monday night in non-conference action.
The Devils' Anthony Pares broke a 2-2 tie with his header on a corner kick with just over 19 minutes in the second half. Later after the goal, GMercyU had a nice look but was stopped by goalie Tiernan Gray.

Kace Peters saw 16 shots and made six saves in the first half before giving way to
Tyler Blair who faced 17 shots and finished with seven stops.
FDU made it 1-0 early in the contest as Brandon McGregor scored 3:06 into the game.
Tyler Bascone netted his team-leading third goal in the 18th minute as he made a nice move around a defender just outside the box and beat Gray to tie things up at 1-1, where it stayed until halftime.
A penalty kick was awarded to the Devils after a foul in the box in the 55th minute where Oliver Trujillo put the home team back up by one.
Gwynedd answered just under seven minutes later as they were awarded a penalty kick.
Kevin Bowers buried it home for his second on the year and third career PK to knot the game at 2-2.
The Griffins faced a total of 33 shots while producing 14 of their own.
The team is back at it on Thursday when they play at home for the first time in almost three weeks. Gwynedd welcomes Wilson in a 6 p.m. start.
