Biography

JUNIOR (2021) – While serving as team captain, Lynch (18gp-18gs) statistically led Gwynedd Mercy University to the #7 seed in the 2021 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Championship Tournament. He finished the season with team-highs in points (8), goals (3), and 22 shots, while scoring the Griffins’ only game-winning goal of the season as the second his two goals (65:19, 71:40) in a 4-2 triumph over the University of Valley Forge on September 30. He finished his collegiate career (59gp-54gs) with seven goals, seven assists (T7th), 21 points, 72 shots (9th).

SENIOR (2022) - Lynch (4gp-4gs) recorded nine shots in four games before suffering a season-ending injury. The captain contributed four points (1 goal, 2 assists) and a team-high six shots to Gwynedd Mercy University’s 6-1 victory over Penn State Mont Alto (Sept. 6). Later that week, he also took two shots in a 4-0 loss to FDU-Florham (Sept. 10) to earn recognition on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men’s Soccer Weekly Honor Roll (Sept. 12).

GRADUATE (2023) – Lynch (14gp-11gs) totaled five points in his third season as a team captain with two goals and an assist. He recorded all off his points within a week’s time as he scored a penalty kick for the lone Griffin goal (1-1, 25:40) of a 1-1 tie with Penn College (Oct. 12), assisted on the lone Griffin goal (1-0, 32:01) of a 1-0 win over Atlantic East Conference (AEC) rival Immaculata University (Oct. 14), and recorded the first Griffin goal of a 2-2 tie with AEC rival Marywood University (Oct. 18). Lynch finished the season with 28 shots. He finished his collegiate career (78gp-70gs) with 30 points (10 goals, 10 assists) and 55 shots, which ties him for ninth all-time in points, 11th all-time in goals, sixth all-time in assists, and 15th all-time in shots.
