LANGHORNE, PA. -- Behind 11 saves from goalie Tyler Blair and a goal from rookie Gavin Greenley, the Gwynedd Mercy Men's Soccer Team defeated Cairn, 1-0, on Wednesday to notch their first win on the season.

Blair saw 21 shots on the day, making six stops in the first half as the junior notched his second career shutout.

Greenley scored his first collegiate goal in the 68th minute off a set piece. Kevin Bowers drew the assist to help give the Griffins a big W.

The Highlanders fired off 12 of their 21 shots in the second half, while adding six total corner kicks, but Blair and the Gwynedd defense helped to etch the clean sheet.

Gwynedd Mercy returns to action on Saturday when they make the short trip to Bryn Athyn.
