WEST CHESTER, PA. -- In their second outdoor meet of the season, Gwynedd Mercy wowed with a school record and some personal bests at the Golden Ram Invitational hosted by West Chester University.
For the second week in a row,
Siobhan McShea broke her own school record in the 400 hurdles (1:08.84), winning the event.
Morgan Williams took first place in the 100 meters with a time of 12.89s.
Sierra Gaines was eighth, 13.56) bettering her time from last weekend's meet.
Sarah Crane hit PR in the javelin as the senior topped out at 18.04 meters
Another PR was hit, a top outdoor mark, as
Alyson Sharkey turned in a 2.85 meter attempt in the pole vault.
Chyanne Fine took home a pair of top 5 finishes, taking second in the shot put (11.25m) and third in the discus (33.08m).
There was no team scoring at the event.
The team reconvenes at next weekend's Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener.
