TOWSON, MD. -- Gwynedd Mercy cruised to a 72-51 non-conference victory at Goucher Monday evening.

The Griffin defense limited the Gophers to just 28% shooting on the evening while holding a 41-28 rebound edge and scoring 20 points off o 17 Goucher turnovers.

Austin Harriott recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a pair of blocks as GMercyU used an 18-2 run midway in the first half to turn a one-point lead into a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Donaven Spencer added 12 points and Somah Slewion kicked in 11 points as the team was 28-of-56 from the floor while hitting seven three-pointers.

Axel Seka led the Gophers with 11 points off the bench as the team was limited to 15-of-53 shooting.

Gwynedd Mercy is off until next Monday when they travel to Washington, D.C. to take on Gallaudet.
