WILLIAMSPORT, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Volleyball Team picked up two wins at Penn College's tri-match, defeating SUNY-Cobleskill, 3-1 (25-17,25-14,23-25,25-19), and the host Wildcats, 3-0 (26-24,25-18,25-22).

In the first match of the day, the Griffins (8-12) won the first two sets before a win by the Fighting Tigers in the third forced a fourth where GM took control. Liz Schule led the attack with a match-high 10 kills while adding career highs in aces (eight), and blocks (five total/one solo).

Against Penn College, the team totaled 31 kills, the most in a three-set match this season, led by Abreeanna Bisenius who had a game-high nine kills with no hitting errors (9-0-20). She also added a personal-best five total blocks (four solo). Schule contributed six aces as well.

The team resumes action on Tuesday when they continue CSAC play at Rosemont before hosting King's College in non-conference action here at The Griffin Complex.
