BRYN MAWR, PA. – Gwynedd Mercy picked up a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) at Bryn Mawr in a non-conference matchup Thursday evening.
The win capped off a busy week so far, with this being the third match in as many nights. On Saturday, the Griffins (3-7) will head to Keystone for a tri-match with the host Giants and Wilson College.
Against the Owls, GMercyU grinded out a close victory, as no lead was greater than six at any time during the match. The action also featured 11 lead changes and 17 tie scores.
For Gwynedd,
Kerry McGlinn recorded her third double-double of the year with 18 assists and 10 digs.
Rainah Dunham led all attackers with nine kills, while Abreeanaa Bisenius chipped in six and
Liz Schule with five. Schule would also add three aces and four digs.
Camille Baechler posted nine kills, 11 digs and two blocks for Bryn Mawr (1-5).

Cassie McCarney to ended the first set that saw GM use a 7-0 run early on to take the lead for good. In the second, the Griffins again used a 10-4 spurt to break a 15-15 tie and would get set point on a big solo block from Dunham.
It was more of the same in the third when a 10-3 run turned a 12-9 deficit into a lead they would not relinquish.
