Ryan Simpson notched his third-straight game with three goals and two assists and
Alfonso Manzo added three scores as GMercyU inches closer to a playoff berth. With a win in one of their final two games, the Griffins can lock up a postseason berth and possible semifinal home game for the second year in a row.
Dominic Moscariello and
Joseph Pandolfi each added two goals and a helper as Gwynedd led from start to finish and the team climbed over the .500 mark for the first time this season.
As a team, Gwynedd registered 11 caused turnovers as they saw the Knights commit 27 mistakes on the evening.
Luke Xanthopoulos totaled three caused turnovers while

Gwynedd finished off a first quarter with a 5-2 lead before Neumann (5-8, 2-3 CSAC) pulled within 6-5 late in the second. Simpson set up Manzo who sent a screamer past goalie Brendan Risley just before the half to give GM a two-goal lead at the break.
Goalie
Sean Myers and the Griffin defense held the Knights scoreless in the third as a pair of goals from Simpson and Pandolfi sent Gwynedd into the final stanza with a 10-5 edge.
Neumann's Chase Fraser scored three of his game-high five goals in the final frame, but it was not enough as the Griffins held their opponents to 10 or less goals for the 10th game this season.
Myers five saves while Risley was kept busy by the Griffin Offense, making 19 stops.
Jordan Dzierzgowski and
Kohler Setley also scored for GMercyU.
The Griffins play at Rosemont this Saturday evening and can cement a playoff berth with a win.
