RADNOR, PA. -- With a tough 3-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference defeat at Cabrini Thursday evening (25-11, 25-7, 25-12), the Griffins were knocked out of the playoff chase.
Gwynedd needed wins in their final two matches and some help from other action. The CSAC Playoffs start on October 31st.
In tonight's match, GMercyU totaled 13 kills. Setter
Kerry McGlinn added nine assists on those kills, chipping in two digs and two blocks.
Cait Saalfrank went for a match-high 18 digs. Along with McGlinn,
Liz Schule and
Cassie McCarney all had three enders apiece.
For the Cavaliers (22-4, 8-0 CSAC), Steph Judkins totaled eight kills as four players ended the evening with five or more kills.
Gwynedd Mercy will close out the 2017 season on Wednesday night when they host Immaculata here at The Griffin Complex at 7 p.m.
