LAPLUME, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy ran off their third win in a row with a 22-3 victory at Keystone on Saturday.
The Griffins, who scored a season high in scoring, had 10 different players notch goals on the day.
Tony McCraw and
Joseph Pandolfi led the offensive barrage with four goals apiece.
Ryan Simpson and
Nick Suknaic each netted three tallies.
Tommy Belmont and
Alfonso Manzo put in two scores each.
GMercyU led 8-0 after the first and would build a 15-1 advantage at halftime.
The team, who also posted season highs in groundballs and caused turnovers, fired off 46 shots and was a perfect 20-for-20 on clear attempts.
Matt Collins led the GB gang with a personal-best eight groundballs.
Marc Bushong and
Corey Giampietro scooped up six apiece. Bushong also added four caused turnovers.
Pat Hash had two goals for the Giants (1-9, 1-5 CSAC).
With the #2 playoff seed and a semifinal home game all wrapped up, the Griffins will close out the regular season on Wednesday when they play at Neumann at 7 p.m.
