Bryn Athyn Deals Volleyball A 3-0 Loss

BRYN ATHYN, PA. -- Bryn Athyn handed Gwynedd Mercy a 3-0 non-conference defeat on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-22, 25-21, and 25-16.

No Griffin reached double-digit kills in the loss. Senior Lauren Tressel (Pembroke, Ma./Pembroke) led the team with six while freshman Samantha Schearer (Mertztown, Pa./Brandywine Heights) had five.

Alexa Kennedy led the Lions (5-3) with a match-high 15 enders.

Gwynedd Mercy (2-7) heads to King's this weekend to partake in a tri-match with the host Monarchs and Penn State-Harrisburg.
