GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy needed two wins this weekend to keep their playoff hopes alive along with some help but their postseason chances burst as Keystone took two of the three games.

The Giants would post a 13-6 win on Friday as nine Griffin errors led to eight unearned runs. On Saturday, the Griffins would get a big 7-5 victory in game one of their doubleheader but would come up short in game two, falling, 6-3, and would be eliminated from playoff contention.

This will be the second time in the program's 17-year history the Griffins have missed the postseason, dating back to their inaugural season in 1999.
