Beau Fleming (Levittown, Pa. / Conwell-Egan) worked two scoreless innings to persevere the shutout as the junior fanned three in his outing.

The Griffins jumped out early scoring four runs in the top of the first inning capped by a Chris Hens (Horsham, Pa. / Hatboro-Horsham) two-run double.

Gwynedd would tack on two more runs in the second inning when David Blount (Croydon, Pa. / Harry S. Truman) scored Christian Carmolingo (Sewell, N.J. / St. Augustine) with a sacrifice fly and Rick Elfreth (Sicklerville, N.J. / St. Augustine) knocked in Jason Mulvey (Bensalem, Pa. / Bensalem) with a two-out double.

Gwynedd would tack on two more runs in the fifth and three runs in the eighth.
