GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- The Griffin Women's Lacrosse Team had their hands full in a 19-6 loss to Immaculata on a dreary Wednesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference tilt.

Juniors Brianna Greer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) and Danae Perrymond (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) along with freshman Lauren Mitros (Glenside, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) all had two goals and an assist but the Mighty Macs put the Griffins in an early deficit.

Perrymond led GMercyU with four groundballs and along with senior Kelsey Yori (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) added four draw controls.

Allison Jakavick and Rosemarie Reitman netted three goals apiece for IU (4-4, 2-1 CSAC). Hannah Verrecchia added two goals and a game-high three assists.

The Griffins (3-4, 0-2 CSAC) return to action on Saturday when they host Neumann in a CSAC contest slated for a noon start.
