BOX SCOREGWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Visiting Cabrini sent Gwynedd Mercy to its third-straight defeat as the Griffins fell, 18-7, to the Cavaliers in the team's CSAC opener Wednesday night.
Danae Perrymond (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) led the Griffins (2-3, 0-1 CSAC) with two goals and two assists. The junior added five groundballs and five draws, to lead the squad. Senior
Kelsey Yori (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) and freshman
Lauren Mitros (Glenside, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) also netted a pair of goals each while junior
Brianna Greer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) also tallied for GMercyU.
Cabrini's Sarah Means, Sarah Carzo, Allie Vallen, and Lacie Doubet all had three goals each as a total of nine different players found the back of the net. The Cavaliers would net five goals in the game's first 6:23 and would build a 13-3 lead at halftime.

Bria Gillard (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) was kept on her toes, making a season-high 15 saves. Megan Barlow made five for Cabrini (3-4, 1-0 CSAC).
Gwynedd Mercy continues conference play on Saturday when they head to Centenary for a 1 p.m. start.
