BOX SCOREGWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Lycoming was too much for Gwynedd Mercy as the Griffins fell, 18-4, Monday afternoon to even their record at 2-2 on the season.

Danae Perrymond (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) led Gwynedd with a pair of goals. Senior
Kelsey Yori (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) and freshman
Lauren Mitros (Glenside, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) also tallied for the Griffins.
Meghenn Jackson had six goals while Savannah Fox added four. Jordan Lazarich chipped in two scores and two assists. The Warriors (5-0) outshot the Griffins, 26-7. Goals from Jackson, Fox, and Casey Maguire in the game's first 6:40 helped Lycoming to a 5-1 lead. The advantage grew to 14-2 at the half.
Yori led the team with three groundballs and three caused turnovers. Jackson took in seven draw controls while Katie Cox and Liz Francescone each had three caused turnovers.
Gwynedd Mercy will open Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night when they welcome defending champions Cabrini in a 7 p.m. start.
