READING, PA. -- Albright defeated Gwynedd Mercy, 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 25-16) Friday night in non-conference action as the Griffins lost their third straight.

Senior Lauren Tressel led GM with 10 kills while Brianna Greer, Laura Kirk, and Jessica Behr all added six each but the Griffins could not withstand Albright's surge in sets three and four.

After both teams won a set, the Lions totaled 13 kills and just two errors (.458) in the third and 16 enders in set four. Albright had four players in double digit kills; Maddy Greth (16), Katie Schmerse (11) and Kellie Hill (11).

The Griffins (8-16) will look to start a new streak tomorrow when they host Hood and Trinity Washington in a home tri-match on Senior Day starting at 1 p.m.
